The Operations Intern will support the Service Center Operations department and will gain exposure to equipment management, transportation coordination and operations planning.
Responsibilities
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Under supervision, assist in the planning, supervision, and control of available resources associated with the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
- Gain understanding of load planning safety and maintenance.
- Assist in job task assignment according to unloading and loading schedules.
- Gain exposure to work assignment coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Provide a clean, safe working environment for all personnel and visiting customers.

Education:
- Must be pursuing a college degree, required
- Supply Chain and Business majors, preferred
- Minimum 2.5 GPA, preferred
- No prior experience necessary
- Basic computer skills, required
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment Upon Hire, required

Work Hours:
- This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours will be scheduled to support a 24/7 operation.

- This is a hourly position paid weekly.
