Overview
Arcadian Outfitters is a small, growing Idaho company behind the "Love Where You Live" line of state-pride headwear and accessories sold to retailers across the western US. We're hiring a Bookkeeper to keep our books clean, our collections current, and our office running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes wearing a few hats and owning the day-to-day of a busy small business, not a narrow corporate finance seat.
Duties
- Own day-to-day bookkeeping: record payments, apply them to the right customer invoices, and keep accounts receivable accurate and up to date.
- Manage collections. Send past-due reminders, follow up with customers on open balances, and keep our aging under control.
- Process credit memos and returns and make sure they're recorded correctly against the right invoices.
- Keep our accounting system accurate. Reconcile accounts, track expenses and revenue, and flag anything that looks off.
- Support order and payment flow between our systems so customers see the right balances and credits.
- Help with general office operations. Keep files organized, support the sales team, and help things run day to day.
- Work closely with ownership and the sales team to keep everyone on the same page.
What we're looking for
- Solid bookkeeping experience (AR, collections, reconciliations)
- NetSuite is a big plus, but we'll train the right person who knows their way around the books
- Someone who likes wearing a few hats and owning the day-to-day of a busy small business
- Reliable, honest, and easy to work with, needs to be a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
