We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team in providing nutritious meals and exceptional service to our residents. Position Summary

The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen sanitation while ensuring residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. This position plays an important role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to resident diets and physician orders.

• Set up and stock serving areas before meal service.

• Deliver meals and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner.

• Assist residents with meal selections when appropriate.

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.

• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining areas, and food preparation surfaces.

• Store food properly and monitor food temperatures.

• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Work closely with the dietary manager and healthcare team to meet residents' nutritional needs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
