What You’ll Do:
Provide hands-on support with daily living skills (e.g., hygiene, meals, mobility)
Foster a safe and supportive home environment
Assist with medication administration and health monitoring
Encourage participation in recreational and social activities
Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communication
Collaborate with team members, families, and healthcare providers
Position Details:
Role: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Norwich
Setting: Residential group homes, Educational Treatment Programs, Adult Day Programs, etc.
Client Age Range: Adults
All shifts available!
- Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, or similar role preferred, or some experience is preferred working with individuals with challenging behaviors, developmental disabilities or mental health
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass background checks. Candidates must be able to pass a driving record check.
- CPR/First Aid Required (we can help!)
- PMT Preferred (willing to train!)
- Must be 18yrs old
