What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager | Housing Specialist - Bilingual Spanish Speaking position at ARBOR Associates and Careers?
Full-Time | $20–22/hr | On-Site with Our Client
If you want your work to directly change the trajectory of someone’s life, this role gives you that opportunity every single day. Our client is seeking committed Case Managers / Housing Specialists to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Haverhill. This is hands-on, high-impact work focused on stability, dignity, and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
You’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate some of the toughest circumstances they’ll ever face. Your job is to help them secure safe, stable housing and stay housed. That means conducting housing searches, supporting applications, building relationships with landlords, and stepping in when tensions rise. Strong de-escalation skills, a steady personality, and clear communication are essential—housing work gets stressful, and you’ll often be the calm voice that keeps a situation on track.
Once clients are placed, you’ll continue supporting them through stabilization services, connecting them with community programs, and ensuring they have the resources needed to remain secure long term. Accurate documentation, monthly stabilization reports, and clear case notes are critical parts of the role.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Help clients find and secure safe, stable housing
Provide landlord/tenant mediation and maintain strong housing partnerships
Offer ongoing stabilization services after move-in
Connect clients with community supports and essential resources
Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reporting
If you want a role with a direct, visible impact—and you’re someone who stays calm, solutions-focused, and organized under pressure—this is meaningful, purpose-driven work where your efforts change lives.
