We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and organized Hosts/Hostesses to be the first smiling face our guests see. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced environment while building valuable customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism
- Manage reservations and seating to ensure smooth guest flow
- Provide menus and notify servers when guests are seated
- Answer questions about the restaurant and assist with takeout orders
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area
- Communicate wait times and guest needs to the team
- Support the front-of-house team to ensure excellent service
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
- Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
- Flexible availability for lunch and dinner shifts (weekends a plus)
- Bilingual Japanese/English a plus — passing a linguist test may result in higher pay
