Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and record vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other procedures as needed
- Clean and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Entry-level candidates welcome!
- 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician would be a plus
- Desire to learn and grow
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- This position can be highly physical, so the ability to lift, stoop, bend, and carry up to 50 pounds is a must.
