To Be Considered For This Role, You Must

What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Warmly greet and assist patients with inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules.
- Efficiently manage a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking messages for clinical staff and physicians.
- Ensure all necessary verifications and authorizations are complete before patients see their providers.
- Collaborate with providers to align on scheduling preferences and respond effectively to urgent patient needs.
- Provide essential patient support using available reference documents and tools.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining information and paging directory databases, and processing internal forms.
- Utilize telephone systems and electronic medical records systems proficiently to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.
- Address non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Manage and distribute faxes, mail, and clinic-specific documentation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in medical terminology.
- Familiarity with computer systems and software used in administrative functions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service, solve problems efficiently, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.
- Adept at adjusting communication styles to suit the needs and understanding of diverse individuals.
- Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
