Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Assistant Director to lead our Preschool and Daycare Center with enthusiasm and strategic vision. This vital role involves overseeing daily operations, fostering a nurturing environment for young learners, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education. Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool and daycare center, aligning with educational standards and organizational goals
- Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum plans that promote developmental milestones and foster creativity in young learners
- Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting evaluations, and supporting professional development initiatives
- Manage daily administrative tasks including budgeting, staffing schedules, enrollment processes, and compliance with licensing regulations
- Lead fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives to enhance program resources and build strong relationships with families and local partners
- Collaborate on strategic planning to expand program offerings, improve service quality, and ensure sustainable growth
- Serve as a public speaker at community events or parent meetings to communicate the center’s mission, achievements, and upcoming initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration or management within early childhood education settings
- Strong background in curriculum development, classroom teaching, and working directly with young children
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and the second language (bilingual proficiency required)
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, strategic planning, fundraising strategies, and public speaking techniques
- Familiarity with licensing requirements for preschools and daycare centers along with compliance standards
- Prior experience in managing programs that focus on early childhood development or education is highly preferred
