Production Associate - 2nd shift - 4 days

AquaPhoenix Scientific, located in Hanover, PA, has immediate openings for production associates as a result of expanding business needs. Responsibilities include accurately selecting, mixing, staging, and packaging various components in support of the production/manufacturing process. Must be attentive to details, maintain the highest standards of safety and quality, and able to work together as a team to execute daily production goals. Will need to perform basic mathematical calculations including counting, adding, subtracting and multiplications. Must maintain a positive attendance record, a strong work ethic, and a proactive can-do approach to all responsibilities. Key responsibilities also include but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to successfully perform a wide range of production tasks such as technical labeling, kitting cell set up/staging, measuring and pouring of reagents, and kit assembling.
• Expected to perform all tasks according to standard operating procedures while ensuring the work environment is maintained clean, safe and organized.
• Maintain documentation for production related activities related to ISO/customer/business requirements.
• Accurately and efficiently perform tasks through to completion while taking ownership for the quality and integrity of components and finished goods.
• Attend job training related to production for professional growth.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by Company and OSHA standards.
• Must be flexible and willing to work overtime as required.
• Participate in analyzing and supporting root causes of production issues and help develop corrective actions.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift. Typical work hours will be Monday - Thursday; 2 PM - 12 AM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Sound math and analytical skills with the ability to make decisions, notice inconsistencies, and perform basic calculations such as add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Comprehend and retain English language with the ability to effectively communicate through reading, speaking and writing.
• Proficient computer skills required to input data, print/track orders, and perform numerous tasks related the production, continuous improvement, and shipping process.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
• Ability follow and clearly provide instructions for operating equipment and keeping required records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner with the ability to perform task through to completion.
• Maintain a clean & safe environment working environment.
