Aptive is seeking an Administrative Assistant supports our client’s Sexual Assault and Harassment Prevention and Response (SAHPR) Program by providing administrative coordination, writing, editing, research, and policy support services.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include supporting the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, guidance documents, FAQs, correspondence, and briefing materials related to sexual assault and harassment prevention and response initiatives. The Administrative Assistant conducts research and analysis, coordinates meetings and stakeholder communications, performs editorial reviews, maintains records and tracking systems, and prepares clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate materials while exercising professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when handling potentially traumatic subject matter.
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience supporting programs related to workplace conduct, prevention, compliance, or employee engagement.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional correspondence experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to grammar, clarity, and professionalism.
- Experience preparing reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and policy-related documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience supporting federal programs, public affairs, human resources, or policy initiatives.
- Familiarity with federal plain language guidance and Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear written products.
- Experience coordinating stakeholder communications, meetings, and document workflows in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining empathy, tact, and professionalism.
