Responsibilities And Duties
- Prepare internal mail/deliveries.
- Accept payments and process billing statements- including EFTs, Vpays, and checks.
- Process recoupments and overpayment recovery letters.
- Process forwarding balance remits.
- Assist with maintaining state and federal requirements for medical clinic operations.
- Data entry for billing department
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential.
- Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in medical office setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to read and comprehend remittance advices from Health Insurance Companies.
- Medical office billing experience preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Salary : $16 - $20
