Daily Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor construction operations and contractor performance.
- Oversee quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with contract documents and standards.
- Identify and document deficiencies or inconsistencies in construction work and assist in evaluating completed work for payment.
- Conduct or attend weekly or biweekly progress meetings to review project status, schedules, and payment requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all project-related events, communications, and issues to support conflict resolution.
- Perform scheduling, coordination, and documentation of progress meetings with all stakeholders.
- Monitor independent testing and inspection services for quality control, including testing of soils, concrete, steel, roofing, fireproofing, glazing, and elevators.
- Maintain updated project plans and specifications for as-built documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections, identify nonconforming work, and coordinate corrections.
- Prepare and maintain defect and omission lists, and ensure timely correction by the contractor.
- Monitor financial data, budget tracking, and project cost accounting.
- Assist in relocation coordination and administration of contract change orders, including cost estimating and proposal reviews.
- Review and manage submittals, RFIs, daily logs, owner-supplied equipment coordination, O&M data, and closeout documentation.
- Strong understanding of general and subcontractor operations.
- Proven experience with construction quality assurance and project documentation.
- Ability to interpret and enforce project schedules and design documents.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education; a minimum of three (3) years of relevant construction experience will be considered and reviewed for acceptability. A detailed dossier of qualifications and experience is required.
- Strong working knowledge of construction practices and procedures, with the ability to assist in implementing project plans related to Quality Assurance, Safety, Scheduling, Cost, Change, and Information Management.
- Familiarity with the operations of general and subcontractors, and a thorough understanding of managing building construction activities.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring construction for quality assurance, identifying and documenting deficiencies or inconsistencies with construction documents, and assessing work progress against baseline schedules.
- Proven record of managing or contributing to at least three construction projects of comparable scale and complexity.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in using software tools to track, document, and report project activities.
- Ability to compile and analyze data, generate detailed reports, and maintain accurate project documentation using industry-standard applications.

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
