We are looking for a Project Scheduler & Permit Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position plays a critical part in ensuring projects start on time and stay on track, from schedule creation and resource tracking to obtaining all necessary permits and regulatory approvals.
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling:
· Develop, maintain, and update project schedules with customers.
· Track company resources and personnel to maintain schedule accuracy.
· Coordinate with customers, QC Coordinators, inspectors, and field teams to align timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
· Identify scheduling conflicts and risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
· Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to customers and management.
· Make outbound calls to customers to set appointments.
Permit Coordination:
· Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local agencies including traffic control plans. Notify agencies of project start dates.
· Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities to ensure timely approval of permits.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records for all permit-related activities.
· Input status of permit activity, update all data as the project progresses.
· Stay up to date with permit requirements, regulations, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Must have verifiable experience.
· 3 years of experience in project scheduling, permitting, or administrative coordination.
· Excellent organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities with 100% accuracy.
· Ability to multi task and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
· Detailed oriented with a proactive mindset.
