Job Title: HR Coordinator
Pay Rate: $29.10/hr
Duration: 13 weeks – possibility of extension
Expected Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm
SUMMARY
- Finalizes all job descriptions, evaluation templates, and inputs templates into ATS.
- Manages job postings
- Assists in processing PARs, PAs, onboarding, terminations, and all other action forms within HRIS system
- Provide front desk reception coverage and supports other HR Coordinators as needed.
- This position is needed to provide adequate coverage across the team, so responsibilities may shift based on operational needs.
- We are seeking someone who is flexible, adaptable, and comfortable adjusting priorities as required.
- Two (2) years of Human Resources experience required.
- Proficient experience using HR Software such as Kronos, Lawson or ADP.
- Experience in Healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to perform at a high level and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency using full Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.), including complex Excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to multi-task by answering phones, directing employees and “walk in” customers.
- Familiar with HRIS system (i.e. Kronos, Lawson, ADP, etc.)
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- The HR Coordinator provides administrative and functional support to the human resources department.
- Facilitate efficient coordination and processing of various Human Resources functions including, but not limited to data entry, processing employee changes, education reimbursement, evaluations, auditing, reporting, data gathering, and participates in department projects.
- Answers general human resources related questions regarding policy, procedures, union contracts, benefits and record information.
- Performs a wide variety of highly skilled, technical and confidential duties requiring the use of independent judgment, action and discretion.
- As part of the team, provides coverage to other HR areas as needed.

- Processes employee data related changes timely and accurately. Coordinates employee termination process.
- Performs review and processing of education benefits; tuition reimbursement, certification completion and payment of education hours.
- Processing all performance appraisals. Ensures all documentation required is attached and complete. Runs Performance Appraisal report at the beginning of the month and discontinue RN Evaluation Differentials if evaluations are not submitted timely. Process RN clinical ladder submissions.
- Supports benefit functions such as preparing material for new hire benefit packet, answering general questions and assists employees with benefit and retirement enrollment.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Back up for front reception area as needed.
- Assists with department data auditing and proactively reviews own work for accuracy.
- Complies with HMNH’s in-service training, attendance, punctuality, uniform and dress code standards.
- Cross trains in other HR areas and performs other duties as assigned.

1.Demonstrates knowledge of, observes and complies with hospital safety, infection prevention and control policies/procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
Equipment:
- Computer, fax, copy machine.
- Frequent sitting and standing/walking with frequent position change.
- Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities in fine motor activities requiring fingering, grasping, and forward reaching between waist and chest level.
- Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level.
- Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, twisting, and climbing.
- Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying objects/equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Continuous use of near vision, hearing and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls, interacting with customers and co-workers and performing job duties.
