Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-technology aerospace defense solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quality inspection and electronics, seeking to support mission-critical projects within a leading aerospace contractor.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid/Remote options not specified)
Position: Advanced Quality Inspector
Contract Length: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $31.93 per hour
Schedule: First Shift
Clearance Requirement: Clearance Not Required
Education/Experience: High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering preferred; minimum of 4 years of directly related experience
In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
Inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and equipment for compliance with specified requirements; perform defect evaluation in real-time; prepare QA documentation; verify corrective actions and rework; communicate effectively with team members, internal customers, and suppliers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, inspection standards such as J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750; experience with incoming and receiving inspection; familiarity with ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and statistical process control; skilled in setting up basic electronic or mechanical test configurations; excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-security environment.
