Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Component Level Electronics Test Technician position within their high-technology defense systems team. This role will support manufacturing and engineering activities by performing required testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis. They also assist in the design, modification, and maintenance of equipment and systems. The position is based in Canonsburg, PA and fully on-site.
Location: Canonsburg, PA (Onsite)
Position: Advanced Component Level Electronics Test Technician
Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $34.29 - $39.29 per hour (rate is dependent on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role)
Education/Experience: Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Schedule: First Shift
Clearance Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Secret Clearance is preferred at time of hire, but must be obtainable within a reasonable period of time.

- Interprets complex engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
- Uses manufacturing, test, development, and diagnostic equipment. Including but not limited to test programs, multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
- Conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses test failures. Prepare failure reports and associated documentation as required.
- Designs and constructs basic tooling, fixtures and test set-up to accomplish unique tasks
- Organizes, analyzes and interprets data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement
What you bring to the table:
- An Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of component level electronics experience
- Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory in appropriate disciplines including but not limited to analog and digital electronics circuitry
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Proficient in the use of engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics
