Job Summary
We are hiring a Procurement Specialist with 0–3 years of experience in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and services for manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience working with suppliers, ERP systems, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement of quality materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing and procurement activities for manufacturing components.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and structural components.
- Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and convert them into Purchase Orders (POs) using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for inbound deliveries and customs clearance (if applicable).
- Resolve supplier issues, delivery delays, and material shortages.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and supplier consolidation.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Quality teams.
- Support supplier development and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
