Seeking Experienced Sales Representative – Illinois and Indiana, Destination Resort MarketThe Illinois/Indiana Sales Representative plays a vital role in growing sales with existing accounts and prospecting new business. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include sales and marketing of L2 Brands’ products to retailers and corporations in the destination/resort market. Reports to Executive Vice President of Sales.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This position requires the ability to regularly lift garment bags, sample bags, rolling racks to/from the retailer’s store/office to the work vehicle. Samples bags and rolling racks can weigh up to 35 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary as needed.
Travel: This position does require 75% travel.

Job Level Expectations
- Strong working knowledge of L2 Brands’ four product lines – Legacy, League, Ouray and Locale – to include selling points of all styles, understanding of best sellers, ability to recommend products for the specific customers clientele.
- Strong working knowledge of L2 Brands’ design library, decoration applications, and sales tools in order to present all options to the customer.
- Ability to research and identify target accounts in the territory, secure in-person and/or virtual appointments, and secure sales orders.
- Attend trade shows to support sales in the territory.
- Travel 2-4 weeks per month in support of generating sales from existing and new customers.
- Building relationships - Establish trust and rapport with existing and potential customers by listening actively, asking the right questions, and responding to objections in a persuasive manner. Visit or call all customers at least once per quarter.
- Target and maintain all customers and deals using HubSpot, L2’s CRM system, to record full communication flow and strategy. Document all relevant information into the CRM system on a timely basis.
- Understanding customer needs - Identify what a customer needs and how our products could help them.
- Conducting sales presentations - Pitch products to potential customers, and negotiate terms of sales, such as pricing, discounts, and delivery schedules.
- Resolving issues - Follow up with customers and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Upselling additional products and/or categories - employ persuasive arguments to effectively promote products and services.
- Monitoring competition - gather information on pricing, products, and trends in the market.
- Achieve or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals developed in collaboration with the EVP of Sales.
- Maintain and augment a sample line provided by the company consisting of 100-200 garments, 100-200 ball caps, 50-100 knit headwear beanies, and 20-30 home décor products.
- Own and operate a mid-size vehicle or larger capable of transporting samples and sales collateral throughout the territory in order to make effective presentations to customers.
- Ability to speak and write intelligently about all aspects of our business as well as build rapport with new and existing customers.
- Understanding of the destination/resort market in the territory in order to identify and target new accounts and grow sales.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a field applicable to sales of apparel and headwear.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in wholesale sportswear. Knowledge of the destination resort market preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office products is required. Ability to quickly learn and use L2’s order entry system.
- CRM/Hubspot experience is preferred.
