What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator position at Appleton Finn?
We’re looking for an experienced Press Lead who takes pride in quality, leadership, and continuous improvement.
Experience that includes cold foil, hot stamp dies, rotary screens, and/or tactile varnishes and you the ability to deliver consistent quality throughput, your overall compensation would reflect those experiences.
Shift
- Wednesday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 5:15 AM
- 36.75 hours/week.
- Shift differential paid in addition to hourly wage.
- Overtime opportunities available.
What You’ll Do
- Lead press operations to meet quality, safety, and production goals.
- Troubleshoot and support press performance mechanically and operationally.
- Collaborate with production teams to deliver top-quality products.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and ISO quality standards.
- Help drive a positive, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications
- 5 years of flexographic printing experience required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
