Practice Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time Practice Assistant to support a patient-focused healthcare practice in Madison, WI. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, compassionate professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and helping patients receive high-quality care.

The Practice Assistant is a key member of the patient care team, supporting providers, maintaining accurate medical records, responding to patient and team requests, and helping ensure smooth daily operations. This opportunity offers a collaborative work environment, supportive team structure, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting, including support for patients experiencing mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.

Key Responsibilities

- Support providers and the patient care team with daily clinical and administrative operations.
- Secure patient information, maintain accurate medical records, and protect patient confidentiality.
- Respond to verbal and electronic requests for information using established policies, reference tools, and provider instructions.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following procedures and legal regulations.
- Understand and follow emergency procedures, including assisting in crisis situations when needed.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time.
- Location: Madison, WI.
