Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting insurance-related consumer calls in the Kansas City metro area. This role is ideal for a customer service professional who enjoys fast-paced phone work, can build rapport quickly, and is comfortable helping consumers connect with licensed insurance agents for coverage quotes.

This position offers a structured call center environment with clear procedures, performance goals, coaching, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term role. Key Responsibilities

- Handle a high volume of inbound or outbound consumer calls using a calling platform.
- Ask screening questions to identify consumer insurance needs and determine next steps.
- Connect qualified consumers with licensed insurance agents through live call transfers.
- Accurately document call details while navigating multiple systems.
- Follow scripts, call procedures, compliance expectations, and privacy requirements.
- Meet performance expectations for call activity, quality, attendance, and successful transfers.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $17 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Work arrangement: Hybrid, requiring both onsite work in the Kansas City metro area and remote work.
- Location: Overland Park, KS.
- Candidates must live within commuting distance.
