Job Title: Mailroom Assistant

In this role, you’ll help keep office operations running smoothly by handling mail distribution, package delivery, shipping tasks, phone support, and general administrative duties. The workload is low-volume and non-strenuous, making it ideal for someone seeking a stable 1st shift position in a professional environment.
What You’ll Do
Deliver packages throughout the building accurately and in a timely manner
Sort and distribute incoming mail
Prepare outgoing shipments, including labels and shipping documentation
Use shipping software and label printers to process outgoing packages through carriers such as FedEx and UPS
Answer incoming phone calls and transfer callers to the appropriate department
Respond to email requests related to mailroom activity
Print, organize, and file invoices and related paperwork
Operate postage and mail-processing equipment for outgoing mail
Provide general mailroom, front desk, and office support as needed to ensure efficient daily operations
What We’re Looking For
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Friendly and professional phone demeanor
Experience using shipping software and label printers for carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS preferred, or willingness to learn
Ability to learn and use basic mailroom, shipping, and phone systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Previous mailroom, clerical, receptionist, office support, shipping, or administrative experience is helpful but not required
Schedule
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
