Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Greer, SC. As a Logistics Account Manager, you will serve as a key point of contact for assigned clients while managing the importation process, customs clearance coordination, and billing activities. You will work closely with clients, customs authorities, carriers, vendors, and internal team members to help ensure imported goods move through the process efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, providing shipment updates, answering questions, and supporting tailored import solutions.
- Review import documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities to help ensure imported goods are processed efficiently and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage billing responsibilities, including client billing, agent billing, vendor payment review, and adherence to company policy.
- Identify and resolve import-related issues such as customs delays, documentation discrepancies, compliance questions, and transportation challenges.
- Collaborate with customs brokers, import support specialists, and internal team members while contributing to SOP development, training, and process improvement.
