We are partnering with a respected architecture and design firm seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager Architect to lead projects from concept through completion. This is a high impact leadership role for a licensed architect who can balance design excellence, client relationships, and strong project execution.
The right candidate brings technical depth, business maturity, and the ability to lead teams while delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
• Lead architectural projects through planning, design, documentation, construction, and closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, profitability, and overall client satisfaction
• Guide design teams to ensure alignment with project goals, codes, regulations, and quality standards
• Oversee production of schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• Review drawings, technical details, and project deliverables for quality and accuracy
• Lead meetings, presentations, approvals, and communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify risks early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track
• Mentor junior architects, project managers, and design staff
• Support proposals, contracts, fee development, and resource planning
What We’re Looking For
• Licensed Architect required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
• 10 years of architectural experience with 5 years in project management or leadership
• Proven experience leading complex commercial, institutional, civic, education, or mixed use projects
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, permitting, and code compliance
• Proficiency with Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related design software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead clients and internal teams confidently
• Organized, solutions oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
