This isn't a "sit back and wait" kind of role—you’ll be supporting a diverse portfolio of business units ranging from Aviation and Real Estate to Land Development.

What You’ll Actually Do
- Own the Payroll: Manage full-cycle, multi-entity payroll (bi-weekly and semi-monthly) using ADP Workforce Now and GreenLeaf. Accuracy and compliance are your middle names.
- Drive Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment lifecycle, manage agency partnerships, and ensure every new hire has a world-class onboarding experience.
- HR Compliance Expert: Act as the local authority on California Labor Laws (PDL, CFRA, FMLA) and benefits administration.
- Trusted Advisor: Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees across multiple departments, handling sensitive situations with total discretion.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Toolkit: You must be an Expert-level ADP Workforce Now user and an Excel Ninja (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs are second nature).
- The Experience: 5–7 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally within fast-paced industries like Construction or Real Estate.
- The Vibe: High IQ and High EQ. You learn quickly, work with minimal oversight, and know exactly when to escalate and when to resolve a situation quietly.
