Our client is seeking a Production Associate to work at their Lancaster location.
Hours will be 2:20pm – 11:00pm
A Production Associate will conduct the finishing steps necessary to produce the finished fabricated item. This includes but is not limited to the following steps: stamping part numbers, removing parts/cutouts, bundling and tagging usable centers, labeling product in accordance with customer specifications and departmental work cell instructions. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Work will be completed in a contained work cell and will cross-train on other operations in the cell to provide support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prioritize routers of stamped product.
- Review router and customer specifications.
- Create product part number stamp and stamping product.
- Remove product from web.
- Remove cutouts from product.
- Tag and bundle usable centers for sheeting department.
- Create a Label indicating part number and number of pieces.
- Attach a bar code label.
- Report quality problems to applicable supervisor.
- Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the fabrication system.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies
Salary : $18 - $21
