Executive Compensation Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $67–$72/hour
We are seeking an experienced Executive Compensation Manager to support the design, implementation, and administration of executive compensation programs across a global organization. This role serves as strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, helping ensure compensation programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, and deep expertise in executive compensation, incentive design, equity programs, and market benchmarking.
Responsibilities:
-Research evolving executive compensation trends, benchmarking data, and marketplace practices to ensure competitive and effective compensation programs.
-Evaluate executive roles to maintain alignment within the organization’s total rewards framework.
-Support onboarding of executives, communicate compensation and benefit programs effectively.
-Assist in drafting executive compensation disclosures and reporting required by private equity ownership and other stakeholders.
-Lead executive compensation initiatives across multiple business functions and client groups.
-Translate compensation analyses into actionable insights and recommendations.
-Prepare presentation materials for executive leadership and Compensation Committee meetings.
-Utilize compensation surveys, consulting firms, and third-party vendors, including equity plan administrators, to conduct compensation benchmarking and analysis.
-Partner with Talent Leaders, Finance, Legal, People Experience, People Technology, Global Mobility, Regional Compensation & Stock Plan Administration for effective comp program implementation.
-Deliver clear compensation, incentive, and equity programs training and communication.
-Monitor global compensation regulations for compliance with applicable laws and practices.
-Participate in M&A due diligence activities and support post-acquisition integration efforts.
Support vendor evaluation, selection, and management for equity compensation administration.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
*5 years of experience in Executive Compensation with advanced Excel proficiency.
*Expertise in designing and implementing executive compensation programs, including:
--Base salary structures
--Annual incentive plans
--Equity incentive programs
--Compensation payout processes
*Experience evaluating, selecting, and managing equity vendors.
*Knowledge of regional and global compensation and benefits practices.
*Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills and accounting knowledge.
*Experience managing organizational change: process, communication & technology impacts.
