Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive litigation support for medical malpractice defense cases
- Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
- Coordinate and manage discovery, document production, and case files
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, witness coordination, exhibit organization, and courtroom support
- Maintain case calendars and monitor litigation deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Organize medical records and litigation documents for complex healthcare-related matters
Qualifications
- 5 years of Medical Malpractice Paralegal experience
- Strong background supporting defense litigation attorneys
- Experience with complex litigation, including discovery, case management, and trial preparation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
