Seeking a Legal Document Automation Specialist to lead document production automation for our firm. In this role, you will architect and maintain advanced Microsoft Word templates, macros, and VBA tools to streamline the creation of complex legal documents. Your work will directly support legal secretaries and staff by improving speed, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with court and firm formatting standards.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated Microsoft Word templates and VBA-driven tools.
- Develop custom macros, UserForms, and RibbonXML features for workflow efficiency.
- Create master templates for Complaints, Pleadings, Statements of Damages, Special Letters, and other core filings.
- Troubleshoot high-level Word formatting, corruption issues, and template failures.
- Partner with legal teams to improve document workflows and enhance productivity.
- Maintain template library in alignment with court requirements and branding updates.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification — required
- Expert in Microsoft Word formatting, content controls, styles & field coding
- Advanced proficiency in VBA scripting RibbonX / XML custom UI work
- 3–5 years legal environment experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills, detail-driven mindset, and clear communication abilities
