Human Resources Specialist
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Specialist to support and enhance our human resources operations. This role is responsible for managing key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
- Assist with employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment
- Administer HR programs such as benefits, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives
- Process personnel changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Prepare reports and analyze HR data to support leadership decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 5 years of HR experience (HR Specialist or HR Generalist background ideal)
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
