The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in supporting a wide range of human resources functions in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
The HR Specialist will support daily HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and recruitment initiatives. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for employees and leadership while maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee personnel records and HR databases
Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding processes
Process employment verifications and HR documentation
Assist with employee relations matters and investigations
Administer FMLA and other leave of absence procedures
Conduct annual I-9 audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Manage DMV Pull Notice Program and driving records
Respond to employee inquiries in both English and Spanish
Support payroll and applicant tracking systems
Assist with policy updates and compliance communications
Generate HR reports and perform accurate data entry
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience (required)
Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) – required
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Payroll systems (Paycom preferred)
Working knowledge of employment law and FLSA
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to type at least 40 WPM
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
