About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our close-knit office in Maitland. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity created by an internal promotion, and it’s ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for clients and keeping an office running smoothly.
You’ll share front desk duties with another receptionist and play an essential role in greeting clients, answering phones, managing appointments, and keeping client files organized.
During tax season, things get busy—but the office pulls together, and you’ll have plenty of support from the team.
Schedule
Regular Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tax Season (mid-January – April 15):
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (rotating every 2–3 Saturdays)
⏰ 1-hour lunch break
Please note: No vacation time can be taken between January and April 15.
What You’ll Do
Greet clients warmly and provide excellent front-line customer service
Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism
Schedule appointments (using a traditional appointment book, not electronic calendars)
Log paperwork, send files to clients, and assist with other administrative tasks
Coordinate with the Office Manager and other staff to keep things running smoothly

Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
Able to stay calm and positive—especially during busy tax season!
Comfortable working with clients who may be stressed about taxes
Software skills:
Required: Outlook
Preferred: Word and Excel (training provided for ProSeries and Revver)
