What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maintenance (FM) Account Manager position at AppleOne Employment Services?
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly
Oversee all phases of facility maintenance projects including planning, budgeting, execution, and reporting
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and staff to ensure timely and quality service delivery
Resolve client concerns efficiently during maintenance activities
Manage and track project budgets for cost-effective service delivery
Mentor and train team members to achieve project objectives
Apply facility maintenance knowledge across trades such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, as well as broader construction management
Oversee work orders from inception to completion, tracking progress and coordinating vendors
Utilize facility management platforms such as MS Dynamics Field Services, Corrigo, ServiceChannel, FM Pilot, and Verisae
Review and approve invoices while maintaining budget control
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Maintain organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Apply technical knowledge including architectural drawings, space planning, and facility repair practices
Proactively ensure client and project needs are met efficiently and economically
Use Microsoft Suite and client management systems for project tracking and reporting
Qualifications
6 years of facility maintenance experience
Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation abilities
Familiarity with facility maintenance software and construction processes
Ability to lead and coordinate teams and vendors
