This role is responsible for managing high-volume order processing, supporting customers with accuracy and care, and ensuring seamless communication across internal departments. Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Processing
- Accurately enter, review, and process customer orders in a timely manner
- Verify pricing, product availability, shipping details, and customer requirements
- Monitor order status and proactively resolve discrepancies or delays
- Coordinate with the Plant, Transportation, Warehouse, and Sales Teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide clear, professional, and solution-oriented communication for customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction
- Handle escalations with professionalism and follow-through
- Maintain accurate customer records, order notes, and communication logs
- Review documentation for completeness and compliance with company policies
- Identify errors or inconsistencies and take corrective action promptly
- Support continuous improvement by reporting recurring issues or process gaps
- Identify gaps in existing workflows and contribute to the development of future SOPs and best practices
- Partner with internal teams to resolve order issues, inventory questions, and delivery challenges
- Communicate customer requirements clearly to ensure alignment across departments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to workflow improvements
- 1–3 years of customer service or order processing experience (manufacturing, distribution, or logistics)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong initiative and resourcefulness in problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
