What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at AppleOne Employment Services?
The Project Manager’s principal duty is providing oversight of budgets and schedules for multiple, concurrent projects.
Must be willing and able to conduct site visits at job sites throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.
Duties:
- Responsible for monitoring construction projects for on-time and on-budget completion, including proactive communication of any anticipated changes, overages etc.
- Participate in all Owner meetings from pre-construction to completion with a focus on constructability to ensure project success.
- Develop business and client relationships.
- Primary point of contact for all project needs.
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with management, clients, consultants, building officials, and construction team.
- Review and monitor all project documents for conformance with budget, schedule, and contract.
- Accomplishes subcontractor selection and buy-outs.
- Partner with the Estimating team in the estimating process to ensure an accurate estimate and bid.
- Review, process, and approve all RFI’s, Submittals, and RFC’s.
- Prepare and manage Project Budget, Schedules, and Status Reports.
- Manage, process, and approve all subcontractor CO’s and billings.
- Promote and implement company safety standards and ensure a safe work environment.
Project Manager – Required Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience in scheduling, budgeting, supervising field teams, quality control and production of commercial construction projects. Thorough knowledge of building construction, sequencing of trades, practices, codes, and regulations. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Experience with Procore Construction Management Software a big plus. Leadership ability. Must be enthusiastic and professional.

Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
