The Assembler is responsible for assembling components and parts to create finished products according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, inspecting parts, and ensuring that all products meet company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components or subassemblies according to detailed instructions, blueprints, or work orders.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect and test assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify and report defective parts or materials to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow production schedules and meet productivity targets.
Record production data, such as quantities assembled and time spent on tasks.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve production issues.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Prior Experience In Assembly, Manufacturing, Or Production Preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to [X lbs] as needed.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing setting.
May require working near machinery, with repetitive motions, or in noisy environments.
