About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our vendor relationships, ensuring that all financial obligations are met accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
Invoice Management: Process high-volume full-cycle AP, including coding, data entry, and three-way matching.
Payment Cycles: Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies regarding billing or payments.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities.
Compliance: Maintain digital filing systems and ensure all records comply with internal controls and tax requirements (e.g., 1099 maintenance).
What You’ll Need
Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
