Marketing Compliance Analyst – Los Angeles Office
We are seeking a Marketing Compliance Analyst to join our legal and compliance team and work as a compliance focused liaison for our lead gen marketing teams. You will report to our General Counsel and work closely with a variety of internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and applicable laws while increasing operational efficiency. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, comfortable navigating complexity, and have strong analytical, research, and editing skills.
The Marketing Compliance Analyst will be a primary point of contact for compliance related questions, material reviews, and compliance initiatives. This requires excellent written communication skills, the ability to lead conversations in meetings with internal stakeholders, and skills required to develop efficient compliance processes. We are looking for someone who is proactive in the way that they manage relationships, that is actively looking for ways to improve efficiency, and has the drive to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
Candidates should be comfortable making judgement calls on complex compliance issues. Attention to detail is a critical component of this position. The Marketing Compliance Analyst will be responsible for diagnosing technical errors and inefficiencies in our compliance tools and procedures, formulating a plan for moving forward, and effectively communicating the next steps internally.
Key to this position is being comfortable in running analysis on a variety of data sets. The Marketing Compliance Analyst should be comfortable analyzing statutes and regulations and industry guidelines. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word along with strong analytical skills, reading comprehension, and editorial skills are required.
This is a full-time position and ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience. Our company is currently on a hybrid in-office / work from home schedule out of our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office.

Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with internal stakeholders on compliance initiatives and obligations
- Keeping track of compliance obligations and associated deadlines
- Educating staff on our compliance policies and obligations
- Analyzing advertising materials and other content for compliance
- Researching and informing internal stakeholders of changes in regulations
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues with compliance tool and procedures
- Creative problem solving to resolve issues or get past obstacles for compliance
- Keeping the General Counsel informed of the status of all compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from 4-year university required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced communication skills required
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Proven leader with strong collaboration skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance is a plus
- Working knowledge of SEM, email marketing, pay per call, affiliate marketing and programmatic advertising is a plus
- Experience with Medicare Advantage marketing guidelines is a plus
- Ability to strategize, analyze, and optimize around data
- Microsoft Word fluency is a must
