Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support agency compliance with New Jersey Division of Developmental
- Maintain knowledge of DDD and Department of Human Services (DHS) policies,
- Ensure that residential and program services remain compliant with DDD, DHS,
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and state officials during investigations or reviews
- Verify that programs meet licensing and accreditation requirements while maintaining
- Participate in the development, review, and revision of organizational policies and
- Provide regular staff training and in-service education for employees involved in
- Conduct routine program visits and compliance reviews of DDD-licensed sites to ensure
- Identify operational deficiencies within residential programs and work with program staff
- Oversee the renewal and maintenance of DDD licenses for all agency programs
- Maintain documentation and records for all licenses, certifications, and regulatory
- Prepare program sites for licensing reviews and assist in coordinating required
- Assist in the development and licensing of new programs, ensuring readiness for initial
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and surveys to maintain program integrity and
- Track and analyze quality indicators related to service delivery, risk management, and
- Perform scheduled quality assurance reviews and monitoring visits for DDD-licensed
- Ensure agency programs remain compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal
- Conduct monthly compliance visits and program reviews across residential and other
- Prepare and submit weekly quality assurance and program integrity reports to the
- Identify and address program deficiencies through ongoing monitoring and collaboration
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by APluscare leadership.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with
interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and support compliance-related projects.
- Working knowledge of quality assurance practices, operational systems, and quality
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Must cooperate with the Office of Licensing and Department of Human Services
- Must successfully complete all required training and demonstrate proficiency in
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to manage detailed work and address both routine and complex issues while
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with
- Ability to focus, read, and process information in a fast-paced work environment.
- Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Local travel between agency locations and program sites may be required.
