ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and quality operations of departmental services, overseeing residential and supportive programs for youth services and behavioral health. This role provides leadership, supervises staff, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and promotes professional development. The Regional Director collaborates with internal teams and external agencies to improve service delivery, maintain occupancy rates, and ensure effective daily operations. A hybrid work schedule with office and site visits is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspire staff to deliver person-centered services focused on hope, strengths, and wellness. • Ensure services comply with policies, state/federal regulations, and accreditation standards. • Monitor program outcomes and implement corrective actions for quality improvement. • Oversee clinical and administrative activities of residential and supportive service units. • Maintain accurate electronic clinical records and monitor EHR utilization for compliance. • Conduct inquiries, collaborate on investigations, and develop corrective action plans. • Ensure regulatory credentials, licenses, and certifications are maintained. • Implement practices to prevent fraud, abuse, neglect, and misuse of resources. • Coordinate resources for staff to optimize service delivery and agency assets. • Provide administrative oversight for staffing, scheduling, and evidence-based service delivery. • Promote effective team collaboration and person-centered planning. • Monitor physical safety and appeal of residential and administrative locations. • Attend meetings, review person-centered plans, and collaborate with leadership. • Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 7 years of experience in residential/supportive services for adults with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health disorders. • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience. • Master’s degree in rehabilitation, mental health, or human services preferred. • Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR. • Satisfactory background check.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills. • Ability to supervise and assist consumers in residential programs. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Physical ability to fulfill job requirements. • Competencies include: • Knowledge of intellectual disability services and community resources. • Problem-solving and inductive reasoning. • Leadership and adaptability. • Teamwork and interpersonal sensitivity. • Written and oral communication. • Quality control and ethical decision-making. • Stress tolerance and dependability. |
