Shift: Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Friday & Saturday
Pay Information
Base Rate: $17.90/hour
Weekend Rate: $18.90/hour
Job Overview
Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our Toms River group home, supporting adults with disabilities.
This overnight position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting residents in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on care, supervision, and mentorship to residents while helping them develop independence and life skills. Key responsibilities include:
Assist residents with daily living skills (cooking, housekeeping, hygiene)
Support health and wellness, including personal medical care
Encourage community participation and social engagement
Promote emotional and social development (coping skills, communication, friendships)
Support budgeting, money management, and other life skills
Foster independence, dignity, and autonomy for residents
No prior experience required – paid training provided!
Qualifications
18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Ability to successfully complete:
State and Federal criminal background checks
Drug screening
Pre-employment physical and PPD
Willingness to complete all required orientation and pre-service training
