We are currently accepting applications for the Assistant Regional Director opportunity with our Mainstay United program.
Our Mainstay United program offers a range of residential, behavioral, and independent living skills support, within a rehabilitative model, for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The program specializes in helping people who have a history of problematic sexual behavior by incorporating clinically centered practices into everyday living. Mainstay United uses trauma-informed and person-centered positive approaches to address risk-reduction for the community and to assist individuals in gaining independence
About the Role:
The Assistant Regional Director provides leadership to staff in collaboration with the Regional Director. The Assistant Regional Director will assist the director with staff supervision, training and hiring staff. The ARD is responsible for helping to ensure all program operations are conducted in an ethical and professional manner. A commitment to the RHD values should be demonstrated as job duties are performed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field from an accredited institution, required.
- 3 years' work experience in mental health/IDD direct service and 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications.
- Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Residential Managers and Direct Support Professionals to include daily operations, supervision practices, implementation of consumer plans and documentation.
- Supervise Fiscal Admin, Medical Staff, and Program Specialist in the absence of the Regional Director.
- In collaboration with the Fiscal Administrator or Office Manager, provide oversight to the recruitment process to include scheduling candidates for and participating in interviews.
- Oversee the hiring and orientation of new staff as necessary.
- Support management team with documentation around supervision to include progressive discipline as warranted.
- Reviews site documentation in preparation for audits both internal and external.
- Adhers to license, funding and budget requirements.
- Provide support and intervention for individuals and staff during a crisis.
- Create an environment that empowers individuals through the development of skills and coordination of resources and supportive services.
