Position Overview
Apexon is currently hiring experienced Senior Java Developers with IES experience to join our team. This is an onsite opportunity, and candidates must be able to work on a W2 basis.
These individuals will be responsible for Java coding and development of web applications, writing complex SQL queries, and performing root cause analysis and issue resolution.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 3 years of development experience in Java 6.0 and J2EE application components including JSP, Custom Tag Libraries, JavaScript, Session EJBs, JDBC, etc.
- Experience working with Java Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as RAD 7.5 or above
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using design patterns like Singleton, Factory, and DAO
- Good understanding of MVC architecture
- Experience in batch job development and web services development
- Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0
- Experience working with WAS 8.0 in a SUSE Linux 11 (VMware) environment is a plus
- Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries in DB2 and Oracle
- Good communication skills
- Prior experience with Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) is an added advantage
