We are seeking a Software Applications Engineer with experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting software applications in support of test systems, hardware interfaces, and engineering operations. This role involves hands‑on development using modern programming languages, system‑level debugging, and work within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering or software‑development experience (or an advanced degree)
- Experience developing and integrating applications using:
- C , C#, Java, Python, Visual Basic, or similar languages
- Experience using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
- Experience working in Windows environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio
- Ability to troubleshoot software and test instrumentation at the system level
- Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware‑optimization techniques
- Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces
- Familiarity with communication protocols:
- TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
- Experience using UML for software architecture and design visualization
- Understanding of software development lifecycles:
- Waterfall, Agile
- Knowledge of Software Configuration Management (SCM) principles
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps Server or GitHub
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
