Job Description:
Title: Scrum Master (Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid – Columbus Area)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Location: Hybrid – Must reside in Columbus, OH or surrounding area and be available for onsite collaboration as needed
Pay: $53/hr
Role Summary
The Scrum Master will support one or more product squads focused on delivering high-quality digital employee experiences. These experiences span collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Viva), endpoint and identity services, and workplace productivity tools.
This role is responsible for guiding teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving consistent, incremental delivery aligned to business outcomes such as employee experience, adoption, reliability, and supportability.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
Coach teams on Agile principles, frameworks, and continuous improvement practices
Remove blockers and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams (e.g., security, networking, identity, endpoint)
Partner with product owners and stakeholders to ensure clear backlog prioritization and delivery alignment
Promote transparency through reporting, dashboards, and metrics tracking
Drive team accountability for delivering high-quality, incremental value
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting product or platform teams
Proven experience facilitating Scrum events and applying Lean/Kanban principles for workflow optimization
Hands-on experience with tools like Azure DevOps or Jira (backlogs, boards, dashboards, reporting)
Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and resolve team conflicts
Ability to navigate dependencies across technical domains (e.g., infrastructure, identity, networking, collaboration tools)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong stakeholder management capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Agile certifications such as PSM I/II, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master (SASM), or Kanban (KMP)
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva, Power Platform)
Exposure to endpoint management tools such as Intune and Autopilot
Understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices (incident, problem, change management) and service reliability concepts (SRE)
Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments (e.g., healthcare, financial services, public sector)
Familiarity with value and performance metrics frameworks (OKRs, DORA metrics, Digital Employee Experience (DEX), CSAT/NPS)
