Location: Addison, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Database Developer to join our Securities Pricing Platform team. This role involves programming with a focus on Oracle databases and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting database components and services for our financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: 5 years of experience in Oracle DB, including PL/SQL queries and programming. 1 year of experience with the Angular framework and Kendo UI is also required.

Oracle Database Developer

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions, including stored procedures, packages, functions, and queries.
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
- Develop REST API services using Spring Boot and Jersey.
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of database issues.
- Support production batch jobs and resolve data-related problems.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines for application builds and deployments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Experience: 5 years of experience in Oracle DB, including PL/SQL queries and programming. 1 year of experience with the Angular framework and Kendo UI is also required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Oracle SQL*Plus, and Oracle RDBMS.
- Experience with Java and developing REST API services using Spring Boot and Jersey.
- Knowledge of database design principles, including indexes, joins, views, and triggers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting is considered a plus.
