Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Onsite)
Role Overview
An experienced Advanced Quality Assurance Analyst is sought to support the implementation and testing of small- to large-scale healthcare technology projects. This role will serve as a system testing specialist for enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, document management, workflow, and related systems. The analyst will support the Systems Applications Integration and Development team by planning, coordinating, and executing quality assurance activities across multiple projects.

Role Overview
An experienced Advanced Quality Assurance Analyst is sought to support the implementation and testing of small- to large-scale healthcare technology projects. This role will serve as a system testing specialist for enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, document management, workflow, and related systems. The analyst will support the Systems Applications Integration and Development team by planning, coordinating, and executing quality assurance activities across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and User Acceptance Testing processes.
- Design and support user interface testing, application testing, regression testing, and automated testing activities.
- Execute smoke testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing, negative testing, and usability testing.
- Translate business requirements and policy documentation into detailed, traceable test cases and scenarios.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts in accordance with established guidelines.
- Proactively identify system issues, defects, risks, and action items.
- Ensure projects adhere to established software testing governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product teams, software engineers, architects, technicians, vendors, and management.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- 5 years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and test scenarios.
- 5 years of experience building test cases and scenarios within test management systems.
- 3 years of experience with the Sahi Pro or Selenium automation framework.
- Experience designing and developing automated test scripts using established test automation guidelines.
- Working knowledge of a quality or process improvement framework such as SPICE, TPI, TMMi, or CMMI.
- Hands-on experience with formal test design techniques, including Equivalence Class Partitioning and Pairwise Analysis.
- Experience with PICT or a comparable orthogonal test design tool.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare-related field, or 5 years of equivalent Quality Assurance experience.
- 5 years of experience supporting large enterprise or e-business systems.
- 3 years of Medicaid or healthcare industry experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and business processes, preferably within a Medicaid environment.
- Experience with X12 standards and HIPAA EDI transactions.
- Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working within both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile delivery environments.
