IT Data Analyst

Job Description:
- This position will focus on forensic preservation of laptops and other digital media in support of Privacy and eDiscovery matters, while also assisting with data retention and minimization efforts.
- Additional responsibilities include case management, review, and resolution, data organization and analysis, and other duties as assigned for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
- The role requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with scripting, ticket management systems, and the ability to work with and interpret disparate datasets preferred.
- Forensic tool exposure (EnCase / FTK / Axiom)
- MS Office suite / Purview / Entra
- Basic Scripting / SQL Splunk / Snowflake
- Perform hands on forensic preservation of laptops, desktops, and other digital media, maintaining proper chain-of-custody and evidence handling standards.
- Analyze preserved data and prepare reports for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
- Work on data minimization projects.
- Work within ticket management tools to document work and assist with caseload.
- Communicate with investigators, attorneys, and business partners to advance priorities and provide updates on progress.
- Technical background, ideally from Digital Forensics or adjacent fields (i.e. Cybersecurity, IT)
- 1 year of experience in Digital Forensics or Cybersecurity preferred.
- Team player / detailed / dependable
