GIS / ArcGIS Analytics Consultant
Pay Range: $43-46/hr.
Hybrid Schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote)
Location: West Des Moines, IA or Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an Analytics Consultant with a focus on GIS, ArcGIS/Esri, and Python development. This role supports moderately complex analytics initiatives centered on spatial data, map application development, and dashboard creation. The position will focus on building solutions within Esri ArcGIS Server related to weather and incident management, corporate security, and property data.

- Build and enhance map applications and dashboards within Esri ArcGIS Server.
- Support analytics initiatives tied to weather, incident management, corporate security, and property data.
- Analyze moderately complex data, spatial, and technical challenges.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions and reporting tools.
- Use Python to support GIS development and analytics processes.
- Contribute to the resolution of analytics issues and support larger-scale planning efforts.
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex analytics initiatives and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4 years of analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in GIS (Global Information Systems), ArcGIS, and Esri.
- Demonstrated experience with Python.
- Experience building map applications and dashboards.
- Ability to work with weather, incident management, corporate security, and property-related data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau.
- Experience with SQL or Microsoft SQL.
- Knowledge of Power BI development.
- Experience supporting dashboarding and spatial analytics initiatives in enterprise environments.
